History of St. Michael's Road

Number 20 to 26 buildings are listed in Grade II buildings; this means that they are conserved in the external appearance of them, which suggests that for my design project I would have to take into consideration the materials I would propose to use as well as the external aesthetics of the building itself. The reason why the existing buildings are listed is due to the fact that they have historical value, and by keeping as much of the original structures and forms, the urban landscape would be protected.
