Recognition of CIAT

How CIAT is recognised in Europe varies a lot, as you can see from the map below indicating the different levels of recognition.

Red:

By law the certain architectural technologist functions are solely reserved for engineers or architects, as architectural technologies aren't recognised as either architects or engineer.

Orange:

There are some regulatory barriers preventing architectural technologists to be recognised, but there are possibilities as there may be similar professions, and they may not be regulated.

Green:

There is no constraints or restrictions, technologists able to compete freely.
