After announcing the winning pavilion design, we were given the task to take that design and then deconstruct it down to dimensions, materials, costing, risks assessment, which all allowed for the design to be modified to reduce cost as well as the risks the pavilion may pose.
In a group of 5; me, Jack, Lee, Darren & Kristians, we had decided to meet up today (Wednesday 4th November) at 10am to start work on the task at hand. But unfortunately the only ones that turned up was me and Jack, due to the other 3 having prior activities, although it had meant that we had a lot of work to do between the two of us, we had mannaged to produce a 1:50 model that represented the improvements that we had made to the original design.
As you can see from the pictures above, we had removed the arrow on top of the pavilion, and changed it to a perspex face that doesn't just add support for the main structure but also
allows for an area for information to be placed (the extra board at the bottom of the perspex).
