This work of architecture is a multivenue performing arts centre in Sydney, Austalia. It was Designed by Danish architect Jørn Utzon, the facility formally opened on 20th October 1973, by Queen Elizabeth II.

Utzon then went onto recieving the Pritzker Prize, an international architects highest honour, in 2003.
